They are production cars, yes, but will be very few and far between... Again by the time they start producing these 17 ZL1's is gonna be a short run then the 18's come out... Again 17's will be "Fifty" so this is the money shot!

I don't disagree. There are only a certain number of dealers in any given area. There are enthusiasts across the country. Not knowing which dealers will receive an initial allocation makes it challenging. As long as my money is refundable it doesn't bother me. There simply isn't a better way to know if you are going to get the car initially or not. Dealers that have no deposit requirement could be legit but they may not get cars right away either. I've already invested over a year talking with the same dealership and that was after visiting several. It seems pointless to start over and go somewhere else now or any point in the future and be like, "Hi, I'm Joe Schmo off the streets. Got any ZL1s I can buy?
