A lot of people actually do care about wanting a fresh, new generation models. Whether it's the INTERIOR or the exterior and everything else. If horsepower is so important to you which it seems like it is, perhaps you should buy a 1500hp C5 corvette, which go for about 35k (just today a 930rwhp one sold for 30k actually)?
Another funny thing to mention are the track numbers produced... ZL1 while it has 130 more hp, is running the same or hell, even slower numbers on a strip vs 6th gen SS BONE STOCK. That my friend is called technology advancement which only comes in new vehicles btw.
