But would have been nice to have seen some instrumented tests. The EcoBoost clearly "feels" faster and is more fun in the throttle department b/c of its superior low and midrange torque. But all the tests I've seen are saying the Camaro is actually faster in the 1/4. If the writer had done this, would he have still given the Mustang the advantage here? If he based this part of the review on "feel" and not numbers, then I'd say it still would have been advantage Mustang.

I'm willing to bet the reason why there weren't instrumented results is because they don't have access to full on testing kits or closed tracks where they can run performance evaluations (like I think MT does in SoCal) in fully controlled conditions.
Just a stab at that.
