So people are getting great deals. Here's my main question: How do I, if I can at all, get the price below employee pricing? GM employee pricing is about 5.7% below MSRP. How are people getting 10-11% off? Dealer said the price is the price (although I would get an additional $500 conquest right now on top of that).

(Side note if it matters, salesman was being straight with me, but there may be other tricks that the dealer(not the salesman) is not telling me)
There is a whole thread on pricing but in general to get the best price you have to first be eligible for some type of discount.
Employee
Friends and Family
Military
Etc.
Then if available you can add to those with
Red Tag discount $1500 (if car is on lot and dealer willing to give it up)
Private offer $1000. (If you can get it)
Dealer hold back (if they will give it up)
GM incentive (if they will give it up)
Etc.

The last two are more difficult to get. Someone can add to the list and how to get these discounts.

If you get invoice you have probably done well.
