I've seen tales on here about people getting the GM discount AND then getting even more off. I've seen as high as 11% off MSRP. So, I went to the dealer with this information as well as Truecar price. The Truecar price was only about $100 more than the GMS price (of course that was if I could get all wants such as color, options, etc., which I can't get in a 2016). So people are getting great deals. Here's my main question: How do I, if I can at all, get the price below employee pricing? GM employee pricing is about 5.7% below MSRP. How are people getting 10-11% off? Dealer said the price is the price (although I would get an additional $500 conquest right now on top of that).

(Side note if it matters, salesman was being straight with me, but there may be other tricks that the dealer(not the salesman) is not telling me)
