That is why a sales program based only only total overall profit would first go as low-cost as possible to build the car and maximize profit per car. GM did the opposite - they built the best car possible and yet those features and performance did not increase sales (at least for May).

Honestly, considering the fact that most Camaro enthusiasts aren't willing or possibly able to move to a 6th Gen yet, along with the decision to
reduce fleet sales and
raise prices, I don't know why anyone would just assume that the number of sales should be more than the previous few years.
