You aren't really getting coworkers in the back of 6th, 5th, or 4th gen in either a Mustang or Camaro without them complaining. Not unless they are 5' tall and built like a runway model. Now the trunk is a concern due to it's opening. But realistically if you are unable to really haul 4 adults...chances are you aren't going to max out the space with the seats down either. I'd also argue that visibility in many SUVs is worse but the reality is few Americans bother even paying attention in cars with good visibility.
