Actually, GM did state, more than once, that they moved to a strategy to make more $ per sale and reduce the low profit fleet sales.
Essentially saying that they were raising prices and selling less cars (as fleet sales) compared to previous years.
Who knows what their projections are but those moves from a business perspective doesn't seem to be the kind of moves to make if you were expecting a large increase of sold units.
Like I said, before some people get their panties in a bunch saying that I am stating that "they want to sell less cars", I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEIR PROJECTIONS ARE AND IF THEY ARE DISAPPOINTED, they may well be but have shown no indication of it yet, so why sweat it if they aren't?
