"midsize" is certainly a misnomer these days. My just traded 2003 Tundra is almost identical to the 2016 Tacoma. I do recall the days of small trucks and full size. I had a 1996 T-100 as that was a neat "tweener" truck.
I loved my Tundra, but it's small compared to the new trucks. My buddy just traded his 2010 Ram 1500 4x4 (POS) that he bought new for a sweet 2013 Tundra Rock Crawler. That thing is HUUUUGE inside! The 1500 Chevy/GMC dwarf the trucks of only a few years back.
