Had a beautiful C6 Grand Sport but it stayed in the garage too much... couldn't bear to drive it in the rain and put it away for the winters. drove it about 5,000 miles a year.

Have that much on the SS after just 4 months! Got a set of Pirelli winter tires for it and drove in the snow (with 300 lbs of sand in the trunk!). I'm in Healthcare and have to be at work every day regardless of the weather.

I drive it every day and love it... although it challenges my OCD a bit keeping it clean. which is why I had it wrapped in clear 3M pro series film.

Agreed! A8 was our choice after two M6 Camaros. I don't think I'll go back to a stick shift after having fun with the new auto. Great DD. We have 6K miles in 6 months of ownership with no real issues (other than the disappearing driver's mode and lighting options on the infotainment system). We love to keep ours clean, and living in FL helps.

We used to live in the North central mountains of PA. I drove the 04 GTO and the G8 GT in the snow all the time. Instead of sand in the trunk, I used free weights. Nice and flat so they didn't take up much room. The OP is in FL, so he won't need to worry.
