That's what has been said. Which explains why there really aren't any incentives. GM must not be worried about the sales totals because of the profit built into the 6th gen.

Also we have some forum members who have done a good bit of track time in the cars now. The ones I've read had 4 pots and didn't complain of any issues in their long sessions. So someone really needs to justify spending $3k extra.
