At this point the performance of the ZL1 is no more than speculation. Saw a HC with sticky tires and a 3.08 gear run a
6.96@101 last night. The car ran a 6.91 last week and it's fairly consistent depending on inlet temps. The blowers get fairy hot so lapping the track has an effect.
I've seen a few new Camaro SS cars run and they are in the typical 7.80-7.90 range depending of course on the driver.That isn't bad because it equates to a 12.30 ish 1/4 mile. Not bad for an economy car. Lol
The ZL1 Camaro "should" deliver but that will be where the men and the boys are separated by their driving skills. The power vs weight looks good on paper.
