Yep, the NPP flaps are more or less a part of the muffler (close to the muffler) so if you just tossed out the mufflers and tips your deleted the NPP, but if you kept the NPP flaps and tips and placed them on your new mufflers, then I guess that could work.
I kind of doubt that would be fixed under warranty now that you've dumped the original mufflers.
