Tires aren't covered by GM, they are covered by the manufacturer and NO tires is covered for road hazard without buying an insurance policy. The dealer policies bought from the finance guy are rarely the best deal. The best program out there is Discount Tire. Most stores will sell a road hazard warranty called a certificate for about $50 / tire for the SS tires.
