Some dealers are more lenient than others. And truthfully it don't matter what Joe Blow service advisor said. It comes down to what engineers and techs further up the food chain decide.
And there is virtually no difference in CAIs. That's the annoying part. Chevy of course wants to make money on their parts. And the fear of voiding the warranty helps ensures that. Most enthusiasts will go with whatever intake they want because they know the risks are very low.
