Leave the Bose amp alone, use a JL Audio line converter and channel summing (something like this
http://intl.jlaudio.com/product/5421.../OEM_Interface ) in order to obtain a good pre Amp signal. There is lots of room in the left side of the trunk for electronics and a nice 10'' sub, without loosing much trunk space.
