crap. I read 5w30 when I was reading the manual, but I bet you're right that it says 5w40 dexos2. I asked the service guy if the stuff in the car currently was dexos2 and he said it was. probably not the case. looks like i'll be doing an oil change myself, I don't want to overheat out there. won't be a big deal at least.
the service guy said the current oil is a 50/50 blend of synthetic/conventional. safe to say every will be going full synthetic?
