I confronted my dealer and, as suspected, they did have 2 allocations when I first contacted them, but 0 on the day I ordered... which was conveniently not disclosed to me. Anyway, I did a quick internet search for the whole country, found 3 cars that matched my criteria... 2 wildly inaccessible to me, but one about 4 hours away. I cancelled my order, drove all day, and bought one straight off the lot. I even got a better deal than my original deal somehow. No more waiting for me!
