The delete pipes show that the factory cats aren't a huge restriction on a stock engine. There is some to be gained past 6K with the reduced backpressure but nothing earth shattering. For $300 is beats a ported TB.
Tuning is really needed to maximize the bolt on path. These are all with the stock intake manifold and no other mods.

10 HP and 11 ft lbs peak and very board! Looks great IMO. sound is better too. Check the 20+ foot lbs at 3000 RPM with tune, that's what I'm talking!!!!
Best 300 ever, $30 per HP, no drawbacks and better sound...
