I've got a couple 5.6 second car recorded 0-60 times on the side road near my house. This is with basic tests late at night.... Fiddling with launching and trying to figure out a good rpm to launch the m6 at.

I'm not going to abuse my car on regular streets to truly figure it out. Slamming 2nd isn't an issue (for what it's worth - no spin issue for me so far).... But, even a 3000 rpm launch I get a lot of wheel spin on asphalt.

I'm betting the test was done on a track with some prep. Street times aren't going to match track times and car measurements aren't going to match measured track times.

Edit: I'm in Oregon. Roads are damp.... And almost none are flat. I'll try a few more. Only tried a few times so far.
