And unless we are talking manuals, there is absolutely no skill involved in roll racing. Even then shifting one or two gears doesn't require near the skill of launching a manual.

We shall see and I do agree with you about no skill for roll racing vs from a dig.
But don't think the ZL1 will not also blow its tires off almost as easily because it will. Given the ZL1 is lighter, even though the tires are wider, it may wash away the traction just as easy as the HC.
Even the C7Z has traction issues (watch the vids on YouTube) and it has 335s so wider doesn't guarantee anything; it helps yes but it's no get out of jail free card for traction issues when you are trying to harness mountains of torque.
It's going to be fun to see what happens regardless. But the bottom line is that the driver will have to know how to drive the car - and often that is not the case when it comes to finesse and this kind of power.
