Figured since my dreams were crushed by the removal of blue velvet metallic for 2017 I'd check in here since I'm going to be "stuck" with another black car.
I'm glad they offer a non-metallic black. My two current cars are both metallic black and while it is still very nice, I find the metallic makes it look kind of gray or brown in certain lights. Just wish it wasn't such a major pain to keep nice.
