Might have to come from GM to be done properly, at least for now.

Damping requirements in rebound go up as you make the springs stiffer (which any lowering spring even halfway worth its salt should be).

Otherwise you'd generally expect the overall result to move closer to the ride quality end of the ride-handling spectrum and cost you a little tire grip. I don't think it'd be as difficult to reflash the MRC module as it will be to get GM to let go of the programming or only just the access to it.
