If greater recline was eliminated for no good reason in the 6th, it should be changed back to what most took for granted. They can address this, even in the middle of this years run, and offer an upgrade or rework.

Ok, but if it hits the rear seat, it can't recline more......the corvette has limit switches on the seats because they found the motors were burning out when the the seat was put back against the rear bulhead. I'm sure that's why they limited this seat.

But the safety feature you mention as the reason sounds plausible also.
