I have never owned a automatic when I had the option for a manual. I just like being part of the process with the manual. However, the A10 has me thinking of going auto for the first time. I am truly conflicted by this choice as I would have laughed at you if you would have said I would have started a thread like this before the A10 announcement in the new ZL1. I autocross and 1320 my car as well as cruise in it during the weekends. What do we know about this A10 beyond it is coming? Do we have any idea on durability, responsiveness (specifically on downshifts and paddles), cost? I desperately want to be able to justify staying with a manual but dang...if this A10 is all that it is cracked up to be, I am going to have a hard time saying no to it. Also, I am getting older and if I can keep both hands on the wheel more, that might be a good things as well as I add more power to her.
