I agree with you on the infotainment and related stuff - Ford has been getting dinged pretty hard over its "MyFordTouch" system, and I'm told that SYNC3 has its own problems (not that I'd use either, but anyway . . .).

My daughter and her hubby would give you a good, loud earful over the (poor) mechanical reliability of FCA cars as well.
