Cars are so reliable mechanically, that infotainment stuff is nitpicked. I remember reading about how a good portion of the complaints could be opinion based and not actual defects, and how many Toyotas received better than average ratings due to not even offering an infotainment system, removing them from complaints the systems bring.

I agree with you on the infotainment and related stuff - Ford has been getting dinged pretty hard over its "MyFordTouch" system, and I'm told that SYNC3 has its own problems (not that I'd use either, but anyway . . .).
My daughter and her hubby would give you a good, loud earful over the (poor) mechanical reliability of FCA cars as well.
