Surprised thar aftermarket audio equipment companies wouldnt see car manufacturers implementing a proprietary non-upgradable system as a threat to their industry and do something about it.

Every car interior is different. Every manufacturer sets their expectations, and it's approved by them. If you'd like to hear our best, take a ride over to your local Caddy dealer and listen to a CT6 with the Panaray System.
Car manufacturers have legit reasons for going to these buses. Weight reduction, diagnostics, improved reliability. I know that doesn't make you feel any better, but it's not our decision.
