mrt v3 is a muffler delete in the cleanest sense. About as close as you can get and still sound ok. However it doesn't do anything about the cats, which would also need to be deleted in a true straight pipe.

Straight pipe is almost never audibly good sounding. If you want your car to sound like some retarded harley then yea, go straight pipe. You'll make tons of friends and your car will sound like donkey. Plus it smells like unburnt fuel because well... you're dumping out unburnt fuel .

I just wanna say that nobody will confront a person who has done this and tell them to their face that their car sounds like a harley at best and that at best harleys sound like crap because they're open header nonsense isn't a safety feature and doesn't do anything but annoy the hell out of everyone around them - not that they'd be able to understand you unless they were reading your lips due to hearing loss. They wont tell you this because if you think it sounds great that your car sounds like some kind of fast and the Furious neon emblazened car you are obviously unhinged and liable to think negative opinions are worthy of violence and murder.
