I took another look at the email mxair2001 got from his dealer and it does state three business days as if it is a GM policy and it could something dealers say to buyers as a matter of course, but there are too many instances of it taking more than three days to get from the rail yard to the dealer to give credence.
When Corvettes were shipped not using rail the shipper had ten days from getting responsibility to get the build on a hauler even if there were not enough builds to make a full load. That rule was honored but now even Corvette builds use rail so it no longer seems applicable. I still have nor seen a GM three day rule, the dealer email, to me, not being probative.
