Fear not V6 owners we are getting some much needed attention from Jason@JacFab.

Jason and I have been communicating for the past couple of months and he is intending to offer both a Ported Throttle Body & Intake Manifold for the new LGX V6.

Yesturday I received the first prototype Throttle Body: (original on right - ported on the left)

Swapping out the Throttle Body is a very simple process. Just need to remove a single wiring plug attached to the throttle body, the sound tube and PCV gas recirculation tubes, and the intake tube. Then it's simply removing 4 x 10 mm bolts and sliding off the old one..... and reversing the process to get it re-attached.

The performance:
Jason stated "These throttle bodies aren't really about HP. In theory you should feel better/quicker/snappier and sometimes smoother throttle response."

I'm happy to report that he is absolutely correct. I instantly noticed precisely what he stated. Some of the hesitation many have complained about is dramatically improved. There is improvement in the throttle response which is most noticeable during normal driving under modest throttle application in the lower RPM ranges. In general the car feels a bit more eager and responsive to throttle application. Using this in concert with a CAI and modified intake manifold should produce some decent gains!

Feel free to ask any questions and stay tuned - Jason will be responding and likely posting some better photo's than mine. There are plans to eventually dyno test my car with both the Ported Throttle Body and the Intake Manifold.
