easy to see why when you look at how much US companies charge to pave them.

$194.92 per square meter of road - that's on the low end of paving something like a highway out in the boonies where nobody cares. It goes up in urban areas.

That's just re-paving.

In other countries like India, you can build roads from the ground up for $60 USD per square meter.

So with costs like that for just flat roads, it's easy to see why road construction _NEVER_ ends. Almost makes you think someone wants the roads to go to crap every winter.
