because its a piece of luxury that can perform as well, allowing the transition from track to tour with the simple press of a button.
but trust me, there will be better suspension sets that will be able to out-perform the MRC, only down side to that is that you will be stuck with a stiff track-purpoused set up that cant be softened by the press of a button, like the MRC. The 1LE is supposed to be a track-ready street car, so having MRC be standard for it makes sense. but for a full on track monster like the Z28, I predict either an improved MRC system (doubt it) or a static good ol fashioned stiff suspension.
