car. I've driven a manual 10 speed 18 wheeler for years with ease, but driving a manual with synchros is gonna be completely new to me. I gotta break the habit of double clutching and remember that I cant float gears in a car
But definitely be careful not to burn that clutch.
I have a question for those with an SS: how strong is the torque? can you just ease of the clutch and be given enough power to roll with ease, or do you have to step on the gas a bit while getting off the clutch pedal? I know that with a big rig's 1500+ feet/pounds of torque you can just let off the clutch pedal and have enough power to get you rolling fast enough without needing to feather the gas. I wonder how the 455 feet/pounds do to haul the car's weight in first gear.
