On the 5th gen the weight difference between the two wasn't enough for me to care. I believe that is different this time around. Something tells me that was done on purpose for some reviews against the GT350. Which they needed every advantage they could get. Do I think sometime down the line they will offer a 2SS1LE? Yeah. Why not. Just more money in GM's pocket. As for the whiners and complainers, that's never going to stop. Track focused or not, they will complain, but real car guys and the people designing them know best. That dumbass bought a track car and should have bought a 4 banger!  Just my 2 cents on that. |
for a long time a Vette could NOT be ordered with suspension and T -Tops. I was at the dealer waiting on the company car and sure'nuff there was a Vette with T-Tops (or what I as an oldguy considers T-Tops) and it was some sort of Z06 (insert suspension) and he was gripping bout the tops rattling and squeaking. I'm from the time of the first Camaros and I had a 1969 Z28 and that more then squeaked / rattled. LOL
