Rocky Mountain House stop and lunch
The Chevrolet dealership in Rocky Mountain House, Edwards Garage, www.edwardsgarage.com, will once again be hosting a lunch for our group! Just like last year, the dealership has elected to work with the local Boys and Girls club to cook! Lunch will cost you a (minimum) $5 donation per person to the Rocky Mountain House Boys and Girls club. A great cause and worthy of our support based on all that Edwards Garage has done for us over the past few years!

Trip to Banff
Rocky Mountain House to Saskatchewan Crossing is about 190km, with three stops along the way:
  • Abraham Lake for photos
  • The Park gates
  • Saskatchewan River Crossing
Each stop will be approx. 20 - 30 minutes, this will keep us all together. For those heading north from Saskatchewan River Crossing, Jasper is about 155km, with some great stops like the Columbia Ice Fields along the way. For the majority of us that are heading south, Banff is about 135km.

For those headed to Jasper:
We do not have a designated hotel. Last year we used the Best Western Jasper Inn & Suites, and have also used the Marmot Lodge in previous years.

Banff Dinner and drinks afterward!
Dinner will be at the Rose and Crown in downtown Banff.

We can order A La Cart, off their standard menu. The chef doesn't see our group size being an issue for them at all, and they are flexible on the numbers. They have a games room with pool tables, buck hunter, foose ball and tables and booths that will accommodate us and we will have our own servers. This will allow us to mix and mingle or sit and relax after driving.
They also have a roof top patio which is hopefully open in June!

They request an 18% gratuity on our bills but we can pay individually.

The hotel offers free transit passes for those that don't want to walk to the restaurant, or drive and try and find parking. Group bus trip!
