I have a 2016 1SS with manual and 2500 miles, I do not see this problem. I have not noticed what you are explaining as it does not have any delay with the throttle for me. Maybe you get used to giving it a little more throttle. Although I adjust fast to vehicles driving so many different one's all the time. I do ride motorcycles and understand what you are saying but no problems here.
