My closest dealer has 0 allocation and has yet to receive his first one.

The next nearest dealers have allocation but think nothing about bending over potential buyers on the sales of new cars and/or the cost of simple maintenance like oil changes.

I understand supply and demand so I can appreciate the dealers' positions but I am not sure the dealers understand the damage they do to potential sales of the product months down the line by alienating their pool of potential buyers.

So, will I reconsider purchasing a Camaro? Yes. Will I reconsider alternatives? Yes. Wouldn't you?

But, do I still want a Camaro? Sure. I have just lost a great deal of confidence in the dealers around me.
