When I said "aimed at", it was with the expectation that the 1LE/LT would better the EB/PP by enough to clearly matter. As in not just edge out slightly but by enough to move the 1LE/LT straight to the top of my own short list if I was in the market and specifically shopping for something with fewer than 8 cylinders.

Given the disappointing track times posted by the EB/PP at the Lightning Lap, it's a sure bet the 1LE V6 will put a second or two on it.
