But if that is YOUR benchmark then YES the Camaro has outstanding visibility.
Sadly there are a lot of performance coupes and pretty much most if not all are better than the Camaro in this respect.
It did not have to be bad like your van. In fact it didn't really need to be this bad at all. GM just chose to make it that way. And since you aren't quite getting the point some are making, this is the issue. It did not need to be bad. GM could have chosen to make it best in class. They chose form over function.

Agreed. For some reason Chevy did not correct this issue with the 6th gen. The reason given is that current 5th gen. users said to not fix it. Very strange, since everybody in the world has mentioned it as being an issue. Some (much) more than others.
I wish somebody would ask both Tom Peters and Al Oppenheiser why they chose to override the opinion of most people, and take the advice of a handful of 5th gen. enthusiasts.
Maybe the mid-cycle refresh will lower the beltline a couple of inches, and get rid of the "mouse ears" on the gauge cluster ? Not too much to ask, and as I have said before, it wouldn't decrease the aggressive look of the car at all.
