if I were in the market for a fuel efficient t4 that could give me performance bragging rights as soon as I leave the lot, I'd go with the mustang.
Camaro has an uphill battle this year.
here's hoping. they need the boost

Concerning the turbo models, you might need to do more research. 0 - 60 and 1/4 mile times are already out, and the Camaro T4 is quicker than the base V6 Mustang, and its 0 - 60 times and 1/4 mile times are close with the Ecoboost Mustang. The 0 - 60 is a few tenths of a second off, but its quarter mile is just a tenth off.
So when you speak of performance bragging rights...I'm not sure theres much more to brag about. T4 Camaro will be the better handling car for sure. Also, being a T4, a tune will add tons of performance, just the same as the Ecoboost. Ecoboost might be able to put up somewhat bigger HP/TQ numbers at the same boost level being a slightly larger engine, but that Camaro has a nice weight advantage that helps to eat up that difference.
In terms of fuel economy, the Camaro wins in that department.
