As much as the 1L-E is praised, it can be mostly copied or out-done....The 1LE offers a track option straight from the factory that is very nice, and probably reasonably affordable, but it's not the only way to go. You can DIY to your heart's content for street or track with whatever configuration your SS currently has.
Give the 1LE a break...lol...It's one of many SS options...take it or leave it.

Thanks man, glad you set us straight by telling me to pay $8,000 in parts and labour for an MRC SS that won't understeer near the limit at the track....
Fortunately , neither of our opinions will mean much in a week.
Much cheaper to retrofit MRC onto a 1LE than retrofit 1LE onto an SS...
