Camaro has an uphill battle this year.

I heard awhile back that Ford Racing was going to offer a tune for the Ecoboost Mustang that would not void the warranty. Has anybody heard anything about this recently?

It would be great if Chevrolet Performance would offer stage kits for the T4 Camaro (that would also not void the warranty).
GM already has this for the 2.0T in the Solstice/Sky as well as the Cobalt SS and HHR. But hat was already the top engine. I think GM may just want folks stepping up to the V6. We will see. I put the GMPP calibration in my Sky Redline and it was a very noticeable improvement and it maintained the warranty.

Those reports speak volumes. I would bet that the GM bean counters are very pleased with that result.
You are right and the volume says Camaro is slow out of the gate.

No reason to spend the money advertising when you already can't keep up.
We're do you get that? No data would suggest that.

Yes the 2.0 will help. But it's only a $1,500 cheaper car. So I wouldn't look for any giant increase for the 2.0T. If it were a big seller GM would have launched with it.

As for the convertiblele? I hope it does well. But for the many complaining about the coupe price being too high the convertible will be even more. The awesome new top mechanism with power tonneau will add an even higher premium.
