My dealer orders on Thursdays and says he has allocations. He originally tried to place the order on 1/21, but it was constrained by the 56V wheels. I had him change them to the 56R wheels and he said it was accepted immediately on 1/28. I know I'm a long way from getting the car, but I'm hoping to verify that it was accepted and maybe even picked up already.

I love your pace car! I had one reserved at Penske Chevy in Indy, but backed out when I decided I couldn't deal with an automatic. Ended up buying an IBM 2SS/RS 6-speed instead, great car, but I'm ready to trade it in for a 6th gen. I'm originally from central Indiana and a lifetime Indy fan. First trip to the track in 1970, first race in 1971, haven't missed one in person since 1982, and have attended a week of practice and qualifying every year since 1992. Really hoping and thinking it will be a Camaro Pace Car this year for the 100th running.

I love all my 5th Gens ..especially my Pace Car (I have a '78 C3 Pace Car too)...Interestingly, the manual was available only on Canadian vehicles.
