I have to agree with this I think that 49k is outrageous for a SS, nevermind 54k with the 1LE package. Remember folks we are not talking about a ZL1 or a Z/28 here, these cars are going to drop in value very quickly just like the 5th Gen SS did. The uniqueness of the GT350 will hold its value much better just like the Boss is presently. If you have 54-56k to spend your investment is much better in a GT350 TP.
IMO the only way to order up the new 6th Gen would be in 1SS form, using employee or supplier discounts, or wait for general discounting.

Why is it that people can't understand that the 1LE is a performance package? Why on earth would you add the brembo brake package and then add a performance package on top of that? There are a lot of people grasping at straws to make a 1LE seem pointless. Lets not forget the surprise and shock that was brought forth when the 16 SS performance numbers and weights were released (and then were confirmed). GM is full of tricks and excellent engineers. I guarantee you that we won't be disappointed.
