It looks like I may be the first forum member to go with forced induction on the '16 SS. I just loaded my car this morning (after driving it for 4 days) and shipped it to AGP turbo. Mine will be their R&D mule for the Gen6 Camaro kit. They did a lot of work on my 2013 ZL1 that went over 200 mph in the Texas mile on turbos. The '13 ZL1 had forged internals, cam, ported heads and 6 bolt heads so we gave it a lot of boost. Nothing so extreme in this '16 SS. The longblock will remain completely stock.

First phase is to cut out the cats and put on the turbos, plumb in the intake pipes and air to air intercooler. We will test it with the stock fuel injectors and pump and see how much boost the stock car can handle before it runs out of fuel pump/injector. Depending on the outcome, this may make for a very inexpensive and reliable turbo kit that makes around 550-600 whp with no changes to the manifolds or anything.

If the first phase goes completely without a hitch, I may swap in the LT4 fuel pump and injectors and see how that looks. I may be a tire change away from smoking the new ZL1....and totally shocking the hellcats and Z06s. Car won't land in Arizona until Saturday and I expect it to take a few weeks because everything will be hand-welded and it is not a big budget rush job. I'm sure AGP may start a build thread so everyone can track the progress and see the results along the way.

Once AGP turbo has a kit for sale on the shelf, it is going to be the best way to put down big power on any SS Camaro I'm relatively certain. I took 3 trips to the Texas mile and had 3 different superchargers on my '13 ZL1 before I got over 200 mph on turbos, and compared to superchargers, turbos are in a completely different class...way more boost available with turbos.

2013 ZL1 -ADM - 427 LSX 6 bolt, O-ringed block built by LME. Twin PT6466 turbos. RPM custom manual trans, RPS Quad carbon clutch, 9" Hendrix rear diff & axles. ADM/squash fuel system, Ron Davis radiator, Spal fans, AGP air to air, turbo plumbing. LPE oil cooler, rear bushing upgrade, roll bar...etc. rwhp 1400+... 212.5mph, best Texas mile to date.
