BMW 4 Series has noticeably better visibility.

So no, you don't need to be a Camry or Hyundai. But you should be able to do a simple head check for a lane change. And you should be able to see the stop light at an intersection. Neither of these simple driving techniques was I able to do on a test drive. Why? Poor visibility.

And the magazine guys from Car and Drive, Motor Trend, Road & Track that have all consistently criticized the car for visibility ARE enthusiasts and DO NOT prefer driving mini vans.

It's ok that you are willing to accept the trade off for styling, and it's great you loved the new Camaro enough to go out and buy one. But many people won't be.
A simple mirror adjustment makes a huge difference as far as lane change visibility. I never had to even turn my head when I made lane changes in my 2010. Quick look at the mirrors, a quick look out of the corner of my eye and I was good to go. As far as seeing the stop light...I haven't ever really had a problem unless I was out in the intersection, but I'm only 5'10" if I were 6'1"-6'2" I could see where that might be a problem.
