The HP is measured at the crank and is SAE certified. I've seen the SAE certification in another thread and it was measured at 455hp at the crank. It was dated sometime in 2013 to coincide with the Corvettes release but that wouldn't change anything since it's the same engine. The 15% drivetrain loss for manuals and 20% loss for automatics has been in place for many years however modern day powertrains are more efficient so the 15%/20% rule of thumb can't be a blanket rule for all powertrains anymore.
