If the dealer diagnosed the issue correctly, it's not a warranty issue. It's a collision with another object which is what insurance covers, not a manufacturers warranty as it is not a defect.
Again, this is only based on the diagnosis in this thread and if that turns out to be the correct diagnosis. I have a fog light out on my Q60S with 5,000 miles on it and it was because of a rock or wheel weight. I don't expect Infiniti to pay for that. Same as a rock putting a hole in the radiator.
