So does going 19" wheel with a larger tire save weight?

I'm not well versed in the "way of the wheel". I've typically stuck with the stock wheels on all my cars. I know that they are almost always heavier but, I'be never been a racer so never seen the need.

I am considering aftermarket for this car. And, I'm not oblivious to the benefits of lighter wheels. 30 lbs is a pretty heavy wheel. I know it's a 20" but, that's a huge difference to many 18" wheels
