....and i thought i would get flamed for saying Chevy priced this car too high.........!!!!
I will now predict that the Camaro will not outsell the Mustang in 2016...in any month!!!!......unless Chevy puts serious incentives on the car.
This is a Great car that outperforms its competitors. However, if anyone thinks Chevy is going to steal significant sales from BMW, Mercedes, Infiniti or Lexus coupes they are sadly mistaken. I think with a few exceptions, those makes bring in a different class of buyer who will not give the Camaro a second look.
Plus a local dealer in the Tampa area is advertising 2016 Mustang GT with the Performance Pack for around 33K. 1/2 second slower, but who really cares. $7-$8 grand less is a lot of coin to most of us.
As I type this, Fox News just reported the average price of a new car is $34K.....Maybe it is just the time we live in and these prices are the new "normal".
